Founded by Royal Charter in 1967, The University of Stirling (UoS) was the first new University in Scotland for over 400 years. Continuing our tradition for innovation and internationalization, our campus in Oman, formally opened its doors in 2003. Muscat College is committed to developing programmes and academic experiences attractive to the education seekers, and contributing to the sustainable development objectives of the Sultanate of Oman Vision 20-40. Muscat College has worked with the University of Stirling for many years delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and both parties agreed to phase out the programmes gradually in a smooth manner starting from academic year, 2022/23, and no further intake to the master’s programmes to Stirling University as well. Therefore, the College is in the process of establishing new programmes with new affiliations as guided by its strategic plan 2020-2025.
