    Established in 1996, Muscat College is one of the first private higher education institutions. It is one of the pioneering colleges in Oman to initiate undergraduate studies at Bachelor with Honours Degree Level.

It has a partnership with the University of Malaysia Pahang (Malaysia), Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and the University of Stirling (Scotland), in which the last new intake to the last intake of students to Stirling Programmes was in the academic year 2022/2023. In addition to the Undergraduate Programmes, we are proud to be the only Higher Education Institution that offers Scottish Qualification Authority Programmes in the Sultanate.

    Muscat College has a modern library facility that occupies an ample space of 727 square meters with a large reading area that seats 100 students. The library is provided with Wi-Fi connectivity. It has 8000 books and an on-line learning facility supported by MASADER and Moodle.

    Muscat College was awarded the International Highly Commended SQA Star Award in 2014 and the highest accolade at Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Star Awards 2017. Muscat College was named as SQA’s International Centre of the Year 2017 for its outstanding commitment to learning.
