How to apply

We know that choosing a college for your undergraduate and postgraduate study is an important life choice, keeping this in mind, we at Muscat College want to assure you that you are at the right place. We understand that you want a place that propels you to new intellectual heights, inspires you to take your rightful position in the world, and readies you for a career you’ve always dreamed of attaining. The first step of becoming a member of Muscat College family is to apply for admission. You can do so by going to the online application page. Please fellow below procedure according to the type of programme you are applying for.

Undergraduate (Bachelor and Higher Diploma)

First Steps

  • Visit the Undergraduate programme pages and select the programme of your choice.
  • Check the programme entry requirements to make sure that you meet all conditions.
  • Visit the online application page and submit the application for admissions.
  • Provide evidence of English language proficiency

English Language Placement Test

English is the medium of study at Muscat College and therefore all applicants must take a diagnostic assessment test in English, Math and IT prior to final acceptance for commencement of study. Candidates who meet the foundation programme exit requirements or have an equivalent score recognized by Muscat College will directly join the post foundation Diploma and Honours Programmes.

Second Steps

Admission Required Documents:-
  • Application form.
  • General Education Diploma or its equivalents
  • A copy of the ID and passport for the candidate and his\ her guardian
  • 2 photographs (size 3×4) with the full name written on the back of the photographs.
  • Copy of your English language proficiency (TOEFL,ILETS,PTE)
  • All applicants are requested to pay OMR 100 Refundable fee in addition to OMR 120 (OMR 20 application fee plus OMR 100 registration fee)

Postgraduate’s entry requirements

To join MSc Management:

  • A minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject is required

English Language Placement Test

You must have one of the following English Language skills

  • IELTS: 6.0 with 5.5 minimum in each skill
  • 1ST TOEFL: 80 with no subtest less than 17
  • Exception may be provided if the student graduated with the degree that confirmed as being taught and assessed wholly in English in the last five years

To join MSc Big Data

  • An undergraduate degree or a minimum of a second class honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent in a relevant subject is required. when applying
  • Degrees should be in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Computing, engineering or an Analytic science.

MSc Big Data English language requirements:

You must have one of the following English Language skills:

  • IELTS: 6.0 with 5.5 minimum in each skill
  • 1ST TOEFL: 80 with no subtest less than 17
  • Exception may be provided if the student graduated with the degree that confirmed as being taught and assessed wholly in English in the last five years
