How to Apply

We know that choosing a college for your undergraduate’ studies is an important life choice; therefore we want to assure you that you are at the right place. We understand that you want a place that propels you to new intellectual heights, inspires you to take your rightful position in the world, and readies you for a career you’ve always dreamed of attaining. The first step of becoming a member of Muscat College family is to apply for admission. You can do so by going to the online application page or by visiting Admissions and Registrations Office at Muscat College. Please follow the procedure below according to the type of programme you are applying for.

Undergraduate (Bachelor and Higher Diploma)

First Steps

  • Visit the Undergraduate programme pages and select the programme of your choice.
  • Check the programme entry requirements to make sure that you meet all conditions.
  • Visit Muscat College Admissions and Registration Office to complete your admission process.
English Language Placement Test:

English is the medium of study at Muscat College and therefore all applicants must sit for a diagnostic assessment test in English, Math and IT prior to final acceptance for commencement of study. Candidates who meet the foundation programme exit requirements or have an equivalent score recognized by Muscat College will join the post foundation diploma and honours programmes.

Second Steps

Admissions Required Documents
  • Application form.
  • General Education Diploma or its equivalents
  • A copy of valid ID and passport for the candidate and his/her guardian
  • 2 photographs (size 3×4) with the full name written on the back of the photographs.
  • A copy of an official certificate of Good Conduct
  • A no objection letter from the employer for working candidates.
All applicants are required to pay OMR 100 refundable deposit in addition to OMR 120 (OMR 20 application fee plus OMR 100 registration fee)

Postgraduate’s Programmes

First Steps

  • Visit the Postgraduate’s programme pages and select the programme of your choice
  • Check the programme entry requirements to make sure that you meet all of the conditions
  • Visit the online application page and submit your application for admission, you need to pay the OMR 50 application fee at this stage
  • Click on the link ofThe University of Stirling (UoS) at the bottom of the page and upload your documents then submit your online application
  • You will receive a confirmation email from The University of Stirling (UoS) Registrar’s Office confirming you acceptance.
  • Check your email for a reply from The University of Stirling (UoS) registrar office for status of your application
  • If you receive conditional offer then you need to meet the conditions and provide all requested details to receive unconditional offer
  • If you receive unconditional offer then you should log in to “My Portal” at The University of Stirling (UoS) website and accept the offer
  • Once you have accepted the offer you need to complete your enrolment to the programme by clicking on “Enrol” button then register to classes by selecting all modules in the Module List.
  • Visit Muscat College Admissions and Registration Office to complete your admission process
English Language Requirements

ELTS: 6.0 overall score with a minimum of 5.5 minimum in each component

Second Steps

Required Documents for Admission
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Application form.
  • Original and copy of the degree and full official transcript) to be attested by the Ministry of Higher Education and relevant bodies).
  • Equivalence letter from the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman, if the degree is not obtained from the Sultanate of Oman.
  • Copy of valid ID card and passport.
  • Copy of the final Secondary School Certificate (General Diploma).
  • Work experience letter with minimum of 6 years from the employer for applications with Higher Diploma (Should be attested from Ministry of Manpower if the applicant is working in the private sector).
  • 2 photographs (size 3×4) with the full name written on the back of the photographs.
  • A copy of official certificate of Good Conduct
